I am a cancer epidemiologist and biostatistician at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. I have the pleasure of leading two data science teams: my academic research lab and the Collaborative Data Services Core, Moffitt’s institutional hub for access to and provisioning of electronic health record data. A cross-cutting theme across each group is the use of R for data science. As a long-time R enthusiast, I am also the founding organizer of the Tampa Bay R Users Group. My favorite activity is helping other data scientists become successful.
